Allies Network Training

The Allies Network is designed to improve visibility and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, allied, and asexual (LGBTQIA) members of the University community. This training program, hosted by Cross Cultural and Leadership Development, Office of Student Affairs, includes information that will help participants increase their knowledge of and sensitivity to LGBTQIA issues.

Self-Defense Awareness Familiarization Exchange (SAFE)

SAFE is a crime-victim prevention and awareness program sponsored by the National Self-Defense Institute, Inc. This program teaches students a variety of self-defense tactics and options if confronted by an attacker. Residence Officer Program provides an opportunity for the Pitt Police and the students to work together in a non-confrontational setting
